Stafa, sounds like you weren't joking about writing soccer articles a while back. Unfortunately, my stern no-chest-hair policy still applies for all writers, so get working on that.

Great debut Coner, though I was seriously tempted to repeatedly slip in Italian jokes when editing it.

Great summary of Tuesday's action, no surprises with the results (except maybe Sevilla and Fenerbache), for me at least.

Bad news for Barca (good news for whoever's unfortunate enough to draw against them in the final 8) is that Lionel Messi (6 goals, 12 assists in 7 Champion's League matches) is out for 6 weeks with a torn femoral bicep. Although its a huge loss to Barca, they still have a ton of different offensive weapons to fall back on and so are still front runners to take their 2nd Champion's League title in 3 years.

I'm a Gooner's fan so Tuesday really made me feel alot better about the squad after a hicup in their performance since Eduardo got his leg broke. Do I want an Arsenal-Barca final? Absolutely. It would be a rematch from the 2006 final when we lost our keeper (at the time one of the best in the world), Lens Lehman, to a questionable red card in the first 15 minutes of the match. Thierry Henry was also Gunner property back then as well and that adds another dimension to a match up of that calibre. We'll see how the draw goes.

Oh and if anyone's interested, Fenerbache do indeed have some unbelievably intense fans and there's no way you can deny that they'd have some influence to the visiting team in the next round. Check that out... unbelievable atmosphere that I don't think we'd see anywhere in North America. Don't stop watching until they start throwing fireworks...
