Agreed. Jr was simply unreal. The things he showed us night in and night out were amazing. One of the few players who came into the Bigs and lived up to all the hype surrounding him.

If he doesn't get injured 100 times in his career he very well could have been THE best ball player of all time.

with all the hype about Griff in his first couple years compared to know you may even say that right now he is under rated.

Not to mention still one of the dirtiest stances at the plate and a disgustingly beautiful swing.

I would still cite Junior as the best player of his generation and still in the discussion of all-time great outfielders, primarily because he was the one star whose name never, ever was dirtied with steroid accusations. Had Barry not ruined his legacy, he would have still been one the best three players ever, but the minute he went Big Mac on us and turned into the Incredible Hulk, he handed the title over to Griff by disqualification.

Great look at my all-time favourite slugger (Back to back 56 HR seasons without the crank...unreal)
